Troubadour Cafe (Cafe)
15 June 2008
Decent food at a decent price (for the area). The Troubadour's charm lies in its ambiance. The decor, the staff, the owners, the selection and - dare I say it - the clientele are some of the most colourful in West London. In an area filled with bankers and vapid Slones, the Troubadour is an artistic oasis.
Brompton Quarter Cafe (Cafe)

The food is really nice and fresh and the restaurant is bright and airy. It's certainly not cheap, but makes a nice treat in Knightsbridge. I definitely prefer it to both Harvey Nichols' restaurants and Harrods' food hall.
Raison d'Être (Cafe)

The food is fine, but the cafe is overpriced and filled with blowhard oldies and bombastic music. Many alternative (and superior) cafes have opened in the area. Save your ££s - as well as your ears - and venture elsewhere.
