Paul Edmonds (Hair Salon / Salon)
14 November 2006
The biolustre hair treatment was unusual but worth it - the product is painted onto your hair and then washed off when it's rock hard. My highlighted hair felt glossy and definitely softer afterwards. Lovely salon and Anwar, who looked after me, was also great fun to gossip with!
The Bingham (Restaurant)

What a wonderful restaurant! Our table on the balcony overlooked the garden and the Thames, and lunch was very decent. I was as impressed with the interior done out in dark chocolate and white Art Deco style and the amazing bar with high ceilings and huge mirrors, again with open french windows overlooking the river.
Will definitely be back to see it in the evening - I can imagine it's quite magical.
London Zoo (Tourist Attraction)

A somewhat depressing and run down experience, for us and probably for the few flea bitten animals that were to be seen. Let's hope the new tiger and gorilla enclosures give the zoo a boost.
Hari's (Hair Salon)

Although I had a good colour and cut, the experience and level of service wasn't great. I was left to wait to have my hair washed, sat at an uncomfortable basin seat for 10 minutes, and then waited another 45 minutes to get my hair cut as the stylist was running late. Not even a complimentary cup of coffee was offered in way of an apology.
Rasoi Vineet Bhatia (Restaurant)

Mind-blowing Indian food served in the slightly strange setting of a Georgian townhouse front parlour. Tables are quite close together so not ideal if you're going for a first date and want an intimate conversation a deux!
La Noisette (Restaurant)

Despite the hype I wasn't 100% wowed by the food. The combination of ingredients and flavours were in some dishes somewhat strange (prawn, almond, grapes and peppercorns being one). And although the restaurant was buzzy, the bar upstairs was like a morgue. I think there are better places in London to dine for the money.
