Not cheap but good food, pleasant decor and friendly staff. Like many "gastropubs" it's actually a restaurant attached to a pub and doesn't really feel much like a pub environment - I'm not even sure if you can eat in the main bar area, but it's handy to meet for a drink before dining. Worth a visit.

Full of old people, decor is a bit dated and it feels a bit stuffy, formal service of another era, no windows, very expensive.

Utterly amazing food - consistently perfect cooking, probably the best I've had in Britain.

Seriously impressive cooking and service to match. I've eaten here twice and found it hard to fault - some of the best food I've had at any restaurant, anywhere. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
