Better than Mo*vida - not nearly as glitzy and a bit more of a posh urban atmosphere than bright and flashy like its sister club. New, but the Mo*vida guys got it right again.

Dark, dingy, cramped, and what's with having to dance around the tables? If I'm paying 500 quid to book a table the last thing I want is some guy shaking his drunk ass in my face. Decor is good but it's so crowded it's hard to notice it at all. Bar is very small too, which was surprising as this place is much more of a lounge/bar than a place you go to dance (though without a table you can't sit anywhere). It seems like they crammed as many tables in there as possible to maximize potential bookings without any consideration given to layout, which is the main problem of the club.
Staff not bad and toilets are very posh... Go if you don't have to pay, but definitely not worth planning/booking a night out here. There are much, much better places.

By far the most crowded place in London, and I've been everywhere. It's rammed to the point where it becomes hard to enjoy yourself. You will not get served at the bar unless you are famous or 6'3, and the drinks are stupidly expensive (£9 for a vodka coke - are you having a laugh??)
The club itself isn't even that lavish. The entry ways through the arches and restaurant are stunningly beautiful, but the main dance room is somewhat small and drab. The low ceiling also adds to the cramped feeling. VIP, however, is great - the beds in the wall with black chandeliers over them are breathtaking, and the room itself is far less crowded. Only down-side is the music is much better in the main room. In fact, the music is one thing that saves this club.

Most professional staff in London - strict, polite, unbribable, and down to earth. Fabric is the best in London. No pretentiousness, despite a posh urban interior. Sound system is intense, vibe is unparalleled in London, and the no-dress-code policy is much appreciated! I've been to them all, ranging from dance clubs such as The End and Ministry to members' clubs such as Mo*vida, Cuckoo, and Tramp. Nothing, and I mean nothing, compares to Fabric.
Very moderately priced entry for what you get: 3 diverse rooms, several huge open and somewhat intimidating sets of stairs and bed/lounge areas, arguably the best live line-ups in the world on Fridays, fun/posh unisex bathrooms, and staff that genuinely care about the wellbeing of the people inside the club.
Door policy is liberal as long as you don't mind queuing for ages (especially if you don't have a ticket or are not on a guest list). The only time you will be refused entry is if you are noticeably and heavily intoxicated, you arrive far too late, or are seemingly rude/obnoxious to other patrons (especially women).
Do not go expecting to dance along to fedde le grand with a few of your mates while sipping vodka-cokes. It's not usually a glamourous affair (by the end everyone is sweaty and has their shirts off), though it can be if you get into VIP and choose not to dance... but then that's not really the point of the club. It is strict drum and bass and breakbeat on Fridays and hard house on Saturdays. Nothing mainstream (and I know a lot of people who end up very disappointed because they go thinking that it is).
