L'Artisan du Chocolat (Chocolate Shop)

The salted caramels are dangerously addictive!
Nails Inc (Manicures)

I have tried two branches in London now, at Debenhams and South Molton St, and they were as bad as each other. Poorly finished - the tech smudged one nail and then refused to re-polish it as it would take too long!
Esca (Delicatessen)

Great fresh salads and hot specials, including really tasty jerk chicken and salmon dishes. The cakes which line the front window are also amazing.
Toni & Guy (Hair Salon)

The stylist at my local branch of Toni & Guy does the best haircuts - she really listens to what the customer wants and then adapts it so the result really suits. The salon is modern, with sink massage chairs and complementary drinks. Excellent, and not overpriced.
Pétrus (Restaurant)

Amazing. Highly recommended. The decor, staff, food, wine... all perfect.
Urban Retreat (Hair Salon)

I had my eyebrows waxed here by Natalie. I loved the result and Natalie was very professional and personable.
The 20 min wait for a midday appointment and general disorganisation was disappointing however. I was asked by 3 different members of staff if I was a 'walk in' (off the street with no appointment) and what my name was and none of them acknowledged my presence after this. A bit rude especially when the service isn't exactly cheap.
Petersham Nurseries Cafe (Cafe)

Despite the poor review below we hoped Petersham had learnt from their mistakes and we went for afternoon tea. Apparently not. We arrived 45 minutes before closing to be told there was no hot water left! Very disappointing.
Gourmet Burger Kitchen (Diner)

The best take-away in London - really fresh and tasty.
