Poste (Men's Shoe Shop)

Bought a pair of shoes from Poste and the soles began to come apart within a month, which meant that Poste were liable to provide a refund or repair. I took them back and the manager advised me to go and get a rubber sole stuck on them, in the full knowledge that this would not correct the problem but serve only to invalidate any rights I had against the shop for selling me shoddy goods! Really sneaky attitude.

We really had a great dining experience here. The staff are attentive, but relaxed and very pleasant. The food is spot on. We can't wait to return.

I absolutely adore this place. The staff are so professional and friendly and the food is just fantastic. It's carnivore heaven! Such a contrast to St John Bread and Wine where the food is also wonderful, but is seriously let down by the attitude of the staff.

I took a friend for Sunday lunch. We were so surprised by this place. The staff were friendly and professional. We had suckling pig and rib eye steak with snails - both were excellent. I am definitely going to return. Fantastic!

Good food, but let down by the service. I used to eat here often, but became frustrated by the arrogant and facetious attitude of certain members of staff. It seems that if diners are polite then some staff feel at liberty to respond with over-familiar slovenliness and rudeness. A shame. Unless you are a (not so) Young British Artist, in which case you will receive grovelling and obsequiousness of a degree unparalleled in any other London restaurant.
