Richmond Park (Park)

Wilderness in the sights of the city. Take sturdy shoes and go exploring... mind the deer who roam around as freely as you do. It's not really a place to set out a picnic and indulge in a little Pimms but you will leave feeling you've been to the wilds of Scotland for an afternoon. A very different London park experience.
Mariage Freres (Cafe)

This place is divine. Tucked away on a street just off the Seine, Mariage Freres is a gem. Go upstairs and sample some of their teas in the tea room - be warned there are over 500 types of tea - it takes some time to select! The tea is delicious and served by waiters in crisp linen aprons. You must must try some of their gelle - marco polo tea flavoured - on home made brioche - this stuff is food of the gods. After tea you can go downstairs and buy all of the delights you have sampled in the shop. Wunderbar!
