I went last year on the recommendation of the hilarity who is AA Gill. This is no gastropub but a smart/casual dining room (at least upstairs, maybe it is a gastropub downstairs). Food was great - had a game dish to share and have noticed they do a dish for 2 regularly, so is great for a romantic food fest. Old-fashioned, simple food but very delicious.

I have been to their concession in John Lewis, Victoria Street and they are a bit pants. I'm yet to find a decent manicurist as they keep putting me off spending money for a paint job I could do better myself (and I'm not really a girly girl, just like to look groomed). Staffed by students who aren't that clever and who don't explain anything... plus it's quite expensive.

I have been going here regularly for nearly a year (Emma cuts my hair) and I love this place. Massage chairs, cool music, lovely stylist who is more like a friend than someone cutting my hair, really nice atmosphere and not too scary if you like the idea of being cool but are a bit of a nerd deep down like me! If you are a bit more adventurous, go for a colour and cut with Liga (I do my own colour as I'm a bit too vanilla for Liga, but she's great).
