Absolutely the worst venue I have ever been to in London. Just so terribly run-down and overpriced. I can't believe this place exists, but then I guess it's right by the Trocadero - not exactly a haven for discerning people. If you hated Moulin Rouge, you will loathe this place; if you loved Moulin Rouge, you will really really hate this place... I would sleep better knowing someone read this review and decided not to go.

YSL rules, for the discerning taste that can go beyond Gucci and Prada. Also, great staff at both boutiques.

Prosum is OK, but come on people, it's for chavs only. There are plenty of other British designers.
Gucci (Designer Shop / Menswear Shop)

Pretty good clothes, but it ain't Tom Ford no more. Staff aren't great. Stores are a little bit passe. Nice shirts though.
Hermès (Designer Shop / Handbag Shop / Leather Goods Shop)

Great menswear range, fantastic quality. Staff in both London stores are a snore though, and only vaguely helpful and interested.
Louis Vuitton (Designer Shop / Handbag Shop)

Staff not great here - either unhelpful or forgetful.
Yohji Yamamoto (Designer Shop / Menswear Shop)

Love the clothes. Staff very helpful - even sent me to another store to find the thing I wanted. Not sure about the recent rennovation.
Vivienne Westwood (Designer Shop)

Fun clothes, but the staff seem exasperated if you want help and are not very willing. It wasn't always this way here.
Prada (Designer Shop / Handbag Shop / Menswear Shop)

Nicely tailored clothes, though some are questionable. Staff are alternately snooty and very helpful, depending upon whom you speak to and when.
Louis Vuitton (Designer Shop / Handbag Shop)

Excellent staff, great quality fabrics and attention to detail.
Alexander McQueen (Designer Shop / Menswear Shop)

Pushy staff. The clothes as a brand do not send a clear message.
Versace (Designer Shop / Menswear Shop)

Tiny store, not a patch on the one that used to be in Bond Street. What's worse, the staff are absolutely terrible there.
Giorgio Armani (Designer Shop / Menswear Shop)

Love it. The staff are always very attentive and helpful, as are the new staff in the new Armani Collezioni and Casa boutiques. Great design, and of course fantastic clothes.

Was looking forward to coming here. I'd been meaning to go for a while and went with my girlfriend for our anniversary. The whole environment was much more informal than I thought it was going to be. Most importantly, half the items on the menu were inexplicably not available at 8.30pm on a quiet Monday night, which I thought was terrible. Champagne was also off! No effort was made to make up for this. Staff were far too preoccupied for such a quiet night. I shan't return.

Went here for a birthday party about a month ago. Great creme de la creme clientele at the time, though the decor and music wasn't all that fantastic. And with that in mind, it was relatively expensive. Fun though.

Disregarding communication difficulties, this place is very enjoyable. Lovely setting, and the prices are well-suited to above-standard food. Very tasty, and good service.

I am a big fan of the whole Sketch aesthetic anyway, but this was incredible. The service was impeccable, with nary a snooty glance at those less well-dressed companions of mine. The decor is grand but not intimidating at all, and the food, most importantly, was fabulous. A roller-coaster ride of some 9 courses, leaving you nicely full but not bloated. Perfect.
Roussillon (Restaurant)

Went here for my birthday last April and had the menu degustation, as did my girlfriend and parents, which was simply exquisite. Went here again this month with 4 others for dinner, and I have to say the food was not close to the standard it was last year. Having said that, we did order a la carte. Still though, it left something to be desired, especially considering the price, which relative to the quality of food did not merit such a hefty bill.

Expensive, but worth it. I went last week and the place was packed and buzzing, with great music. I also went in the spring of last year when it seemed a lot more trouble to get in but it was also a lot quieter. Crack out your best Kenzo or Dior Homme and you're in.
