Much better than Hush next door. I have the belly pork there - very tasty. And it's right next to one of my favorite hairdressers (Mathew Alexander), and there is Elemis Day Spa opposite too if you fancy a facial (although I don't like Elemis facials that much). The only thing it lacks is a nice view but, overall, a great restaurant.

I went for Biolustre treatment and a blow dry with Mathew. The treatment is always wonderful, since I have very processed hair. But they miscommunicated and somehow I ended up sitting there with a wet head for 40 minutes. I was told over and over again that Mathew would be with me shortly, which didn't happen. Since I had another appointment later on, I was left no option but to take matters into my own hands and roughly blew dried my own hair. At least the stylist next to me kept on apologizing as she worked on her own client.
Anyway, it was a very cosy and cute salon and I have re-booked my treatment so I can see whether Mathew is a good hairdresser or not. Will update my review later. I have to say though, from a business point of view, Mathew should have offered me a discount for the sake of good customer relations.
P.S. Luke did my treatment for me and is a nice bloke.
(Update: I went back again and Mathew was so sweet. Because they messed up last time, he gave me two big bottles of shampoo and conditioners from the Biolustre range, which were great!)

Everything was very average.

I had a cut with Joe Mills. He was a very straightforward, down-to-earth guy. I have just begun to realise what a wonderful cut he has given me, after two months. Even now it is still so versatile and stylish. He gave me some really good tips on hair maintenance, which were also very valuable.

Been there twice. I am Chinese and would say the food is just average. The service is really poor - the waiting staff are just cheap labour with no grace or elegance. I wouldn't say it is a top restaurant at all. It relies on the decor to attract customers but feels like a pretty shell with nothing in it.
