A proper pub. Where have they all gone?

Excellent. The service is fantastically friendly and the food's fantastic. Perhaps if you're more concerned with making sarcastic comments than being polite and actually telling the staff how you want your food cooked you'll have problems. And so you should. A little expensive, but an excellent restaurant.
