Spa at Chancery Court (Spa)

Had holistic stressbuster. Was very good (I fell asleep!), though not as good as the regular (and less than half the price) massage I had at Ragdale Hall a couple of weeks later. The spa had been hired by a party of women who had completely taken over the changing room, so it was a bit cramped (though I think the staff anticipated this, as they apologised repeatedly before they took me through to the changing room). Very nice decor, certainly luxe. The relaxation room was lovely. Nice experience overall.

Can't help but think the receptionist wrote these reviews herself. This salon is way over-hyped. It's small, dingy and nothing like their website. The lighting is poor. The staff are abrupt and it particuarly grated how both the stylist (distinctly average) and the shampooist (no massage) moaned about how skint they were. I felt quite uncomfortable, as though they were both angling for tips. Will not be going back.
