The Gate (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Meat eaters won't complain about this place - the food is so yummy they won't even notice there's no meat in it.
Busaba Eathai (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Wonderful. You can always count on a good standard of food and super-fast service.
Blue Elephant (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Don't waste your money! I can't stress this enough. The interior is cool - so have a drink, but leave before you have to suffer the food. Truly tastless, awful, cold and way overpriced. Don't be lured in by the goldfish pond - there are much better Thai places in London.
Crazy Homies (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Scatty (sometimes bad) service, but the Mexican food is to die for and truly authentic! Real Mexican in London at last!! My only complaint is they don't take bookings.
Andrew Edmunds (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Charming but forgettable. Good for a first date, but not a special occasion.
Napule (Pizza Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Bad service, mediocre food, great atmosphere.
River Cafe (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
One the best eating experiences I've ever had. No complaints about food or service - both worth every penny of the hefty bill. Would definitely return!
Locanda Locatelli (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Really good - but not as amazing as everyone claims. It's good for celebrity spotting but you get better Italian at the River Cafe.
Zaika (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Great atmosphere and service. Food could be a little spicier, but overall a good experience.
Cinnamon Club (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Gorgeous building, but food and service has gone downhill over the years.
Hush (Restaurant / Restaurant)
19 June 2007
Great location but food forgettable and overpriced. Have a drink but eat somewhere else!
Bam-Bou (Restaurant)
19 June 2007
One of my favourites! The food is out of this world (but small portions) and the atmosphere is really cosy and unique.
Thomas Cubitt (Gastro Pub / Pub)
19 June 2007
The customers are a weird mix of rough and posh. The food is not that great. Don't see what all the fuss is about.
The Waterway (Gastro Pub)
19 June 2007
This place used to be awful but it's getting better. The food is pretty impressive and reasonably priced, and you can't beat the location in the summer.
The Admiral Codrington (Pub / Gastro Pub)
19 June 2007
Love this place - it has a classier feel than most pubs, and the food is a good as the atmosphere!
Ice Bar (Bar)
18 June 2007
Complete rip off. If you want to spend 20 minutes in a meat freezer wearing a sticky plastic cloak, listening to Norwegian death-rock, and waiting for one shot of Absolut to be served to you by a lazy, arrogant bartender before you're kicked out, then go right ahead - spend the £15 on the experience!
Hush (Bar)
18 June 2007
Magical location, big comfy chairs, yummy cocktails and attentive staff. (Don't waste your time eating in the restaurant, though.)
Dusk (Bar)
18 June 2007
Great atmosphere and yummy cocktails! But kind of in the middle of nowhere and usually filled with private parties.
Eagle Bar Diner (Bar)
18 June 2007
Yummy food and great cocktails but a bit crowded and the DJ needs to tone it down a notch. Would be wonderful if it was in a bigger venue.
Collection (Bar)
18 June 2007
Great building and entryway but full of Eurotrash, terrible food and pricey drinks.
