Visited here for the luxury pedicure. Therapist was excellent, very attentive, and treatment was the best pick-me-up after a long day shopping.

There were just two things that spoilt this experience slightly. Firstly, I was kept waiting for over 30 mins. However, staff were very apologetic and gave me a £30 voucher redeemable against one of their facials.

Secondly, I was charged incorrectly for the treatment. Upon advising the receptionist of this she went to refund me the difference only to charge me yet again. It was all sorted out in the end but did mar what was an excellent pedicure.

Conclusion: lovely staff, just need to pay more attention to what they are doing.

Visited here for the Eve Lom facial. Therapist was OK but considering the price what I got for my money was pretty poor. I would have expected more massage techniques to have been applied. Most of the facial consisted of paraffin wax being applied with a brush and I paid £85 for the privilege! Elemis and Aveda facials are of a higher quality and produce better results on the skin.

On the whole cleanliness was good, but the changing area was looking shabby with chipped sink basin and stained carpet in the relaxation area. Again, I would expect higher standards for the prices charged.
