Oscar Wilde and Jorge Luis Borges are among the celebrities who have sojourned at the ultra-chic L’Hôtel. The place recently had a revamp, coordinated by the ubiquitous Jacques Garcia who brought L’Hotel into the 21st century without losing an ounce of its charm. Thermal baths in the vaulted basement, hammam and swimming pool all contribute to the perennial appeal of the place. Wilde spent his last days in Room 16.
