René Lalique opened his first boutique on Place Vendome in 1905, displaying a small range of jewellery and glass objects. The multi-talented Lalique went on to design, amongst other things, lamé accessories and the famous Coty Perfume bottles. Since his death in 1945, the company continue to produce elegant glass accessories and still represent the gold standard for glassware.
